Since 1984, Kern Homes has been designing homes for the western Washington DC suburban counties of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. As residential design specialists, we offer extensive experience with projects ranging from elaborate homes to simple cottages, from new construction to renovations and additions. We have designed custom homes as well as our own portfolio homes, which we have marketed, produced, and sold on sites throughout the region. In addition, we have, in the past, engineered and produced the structural components — roof trusses and wall panels — as well as exterior trim packages, for our houses. Our homes are known for their high quality of design, detail, materials, and construction.
